We didn’t complete our full goal but we made a great dent in our goal. As of right now SEP memberships go back to the normal one year and are no longer offered with our River Revitalization Project donations.
Since we didn’t make our goal we will be drawing for a brand new kayak 08/01/2019! Going by the drawing rules you can be entered in the drawing if you donated $49.99 or more. Also if we didn’t hit our goal you have until 07/31/2019 to be entered. If you donated $25.00 you have a chance to donate another $25.00 before 07/31/2019 to be entered in the drawing.

Calling all Supporters
We are looking for all our paddlers, club supporters, and Sioux Falls Whitewater Park supporters. Sioux Falls community members we are also looking for you. We want more paddling opportunities, more focus on the river condition, improve our waterways, establish economic growth, build a fun place to use FREE, and be the first whitewater park in South Dakota.
Sioux Empire Paddlers is a 501(c)3 club organization. We are a member-based organization that focuses on paddling education, safety and improving our paddling community. Besides our member events and kayak classes, we want to bring a whitewater park to Sioux Falls.
A whitewater park consists of reestablished banks, possible low head dam modification, allow built up foam to move more freely down river and safe water features to add a little adventure. Photographers, watching river users, family picnics, tubing, body boarding, surfing, kayaking, rafting, canoeing, anglers, swift water rescue training and much more, use these parks. Our goal is to bring Sioux Falls a 500-foot whitewater park right in downtown Sioux Falls. This parks current conceptual design would have feature for the novice to advanced paddlers. The surf waves would have two options for high flow and low flow. Whitewater parks are known as a fun summer getaway for families and paddlers alike. They are also known for great economic boosters. These parks can bring in $750,000.00 to $2,000,000.00 in economic impact annually. They bring in a work-life balance that many young professionals are looking for.
This will be our last fundraiser to the general public for the engineering and permits phase of our project. We hope the community and paddling community can come together to help us raise the amount we need for this phase. When we come together and make this pledge successful, we are able to move onto our next phase. However, our supporters are the most important piece of the puzzle. You the supporter will show the want for such a project and help us with our second phase. Our second phase, after all engineering and permits, is to start grant writing and reaching out to local business to support our project to get our construction phase. Therefore, it is very important we get as many supporters as possible to show our grantees and supporting business.The pledge is simple. You print off the pledge card below and fill it out. You can remain anonymous or you can share your name in support of the project. You can pledge $25.00, $50.00, $75.00, $100.00, $150.00, $250.00, $500.00, $750.00, $1,000.00, $2,500.00 or select a special amount that you would like to donate. You will have from 09/01/2018 to 06/30/2019 to fill out the card and mail it in or email it to us. If by 07/01/2019 we have reached our goal, payment will need to be submitted to us no later than 12/31/2019. If we do not hit our goal, you do not have to pay if you do not want to. This pledge is to get all our supporters together to make this dream come true.
